Enterprise music management

Why multi-location brands can't rely on single-site solutions.

Background music for a single storefront is a playlist problem. At scale, it becomes an operational bottleneck. Without centralized control, you're left guessing what's actually playing on your floors, dealing with unauthorized staff overrides, and navigating complex licensing liabilities across territories.

We turn background music into a hands-off enterprise utility. Protect your brand identity and eliminate compliance risks with a fully automated, legally bulletproof system built to scale with your footprint.

How it works

How centralized multi-location control works.

Your enterprise account is structured as a hierarchy: account-level settings cascade to location-level, which cascade to zone-level. At each level, you decide how much control to delegate.

1
Account-level: define your approved sound library

Your account defines the approved scene library any location can access. Your account manager and curation team build it, the full catalogue, a curated sub-set, or fully custom scenes. Locations can't play outside this library.

2
Location-level: assign scenes and schedules per site

Each location gets its own scene assignments and daypart schedule from the approved library. Group locations by type (boutique, resort, flagship) to push a standardized setup to all of that type at once.

3
Zone-level: independent control within each location

The lobby, restaurant, bar, spa, and fitness center each have their own scene and schedule, configured centrally or locally, depending on how you want to structure control.

4
Role-based access: who can change what

An admin has full access everywhere. A regional manager sees their region. A site manager can override scenes but not the schedule structure. A bartender might get a play button and nothing else. You define the levels.

5
Monitoring and alerts: know what's playing everywhere

Real-time view of every location: what's playing, what's scheduled, what each zone is doing. If a location goes offline, you get an alert, and so does your account manager, often before it becomes a guest complaint.

Enterprise use cases

Built for operators managing multiple venues.

Enterprise music management applies across a wide range of multi-site business types. Here's how four common operator categories use Curator Now at scale.

Hotel Chain
Consistent brand sound across every property

A 40-property group deploys scenes different at boutique urban properties than resort locations, but consistent within each tier. Lobby, F&B, fitness, and spa run independently, managed centrally with local managers able to override but not restructure.

Restaurant Group
Brand-specific scenes with per-location flexibility

A 20-location group deploys a brand-approved scene library with daypart schedules matching their service model. Managers switch within the library but can't break the approved sound palette. Corporate oversees from one dashboard.

Retail Chain
Centrally programmed, locally compliant

A 75-store brand programs all in-store music centrally. HQ approves each season's scene set, schedules run identically everywhere, and seasonal campaigns push to all stores simultaneously.

Fitness Brand
High-energy music managed without staff intervention

A 30-club chain sets energy-matched schedules mirroring gym usage: morning peak, midday lull, evening peak, across every location, with studio rooms independently assigned by class format.
