Harry Styles is undoubtedly one of the largest names in Pop music today, so when it’s announced that he has a new album on the way, it’s a massive deal. Kiss All The Time. Disco, Occasionally., is the title of his newest release and sees the modern Pop icon take a left turn from the soft pop of his last album to more dance-driven hits, looking to get people grooving on the dancefloor with tracks like Are You Listening Yet? taking a Dance Punk twist to his traditionally pop sound, with kicking drums and grooving basslines.
Waterbaby - Minnie
It’s hard to ignore the next generation of pop that’s coming out of Scandinavia right now, and Waterbaby is one of the essential names heading the movement. The Stockholm-born songwriter has a deeply lush sound, blending traditional folk music with contemporary indie pop songwriting in a way that few can match. Her newest release, Memory Be The Blade, signifies a name ready to be mentioned in indie circles for the rest of the year. One track we can’t get enough of is Minnie, an orchestral ballad featuring otherworldly harmonizations, deep and tender lyrics, and beautiful vocal passages as warm as a spring day.
Loukeman - Elktorn / All I could Think Of
Canadian producer & DJ Loukeman has already had a strong start to 2026. After opening for Fred Again.. and playing a major role in the sound of A$AP Rocky’s newest album, Don’t Be Dumb, the dance musician is back with his indie take on two-step. On his newest double single, Loukeman blends Warp-era ambience with House chops and UK Garage drums, creating a detail-refined tune that captures everything Gen-Z loves.
Rusowsky - Barquito
Rusowsky is one of the most exciting names to come from the Spanish Pop zeitgeist. The Madrid-based songwriter took the Spanish-speaking world by storm last year with his album, DAISY, and is now back to follow it up with extras from the recording cycle. The track, Barquito, is a hushed guitar ballad, a more stripped-back approach from the mixed pop hits on his last record.
The Sound That Chalk Makes - Love
At only 20 years old, The Sound That Chalk Makes has quickly risen as one of London’s most enigmatic names coming out of the city’s internet-electropop underground. Working between London and Mumbai, the producer/singer/rapper is blending the edginess of new age electroclash with the softness of London’s Lo-Fi rap scenes and contemporary indie. On his newest project, Re:, the musician covers all these corners with ease. The opening track, Love, is a tempered and chop-heavy dance rap cut that effortlessly flows through all its delicate movements.
