How curation works: timeline, your team, and refresh cadence

A curator builds your starter program within your trial. You can be as involved as you want, and every program is kept current on an ongoing basis.

Curator Now pairs software with a human curator, so here is exactly what that looks like day to day.

How long does discovery take?

When you start a trial, tell us your business type, your space, and how you play music today. A curator uses that to build a starter program so you have music matched to your brand from day one, not an empty library. Most businesses are playing their starter program within an hour of signing up. From there, curators keep refining the program based on what you tell them and what gets reported, so the fit gets sharper over the first few weeks.

Can our team be involved?

Yes, as much or as little as you want. Some businesses hand curation entirely to their curator and just react with feedback when something is off. Others send reference playlists or artists up front (see Can I provide my own playlist?), sit in on a kickoff call to walk through daypart and zone plans, or check in periodically as their brand evolves. There is no wrong amount of involvement.

How often is the program refreshed?

Programs are not static. Curators rotate in new tracks on an ongoing basis so a space does not go stale from hearing the same rotation on repeat, and every reported track feeds back into future refreshes. If you want a bigger refresh, for example around a seasonal update or a rebrand, contact support and a curator will schedule one.
